It was an evenly matched midfield battle but Matty Pickard’s pace down the right provided a threat for Heslerton and he was rewarded with a goal.
Pier levelled with a penalty and caught their visitors square to go ahead, but, seconds after the second half kicked off, Elliot Leaming made it 2-2 after the goalkeeper had spilled the ball and he went on to get the winner.
Kirkbymoorside U15 Girls enjoyed a 4-0 win at Wigginton while Keelan Simpson led the way with five goals as Kirkbymoorside U14s thrashed Hunmanby 9-0. Archie Barnes (2), Ryan Metcalfe and Ryan Watson also scored.
