Kirkbymoorside U16s goal crazy in showdown

There was glory and agony for Kirkbymoorside youngsters in their respective league cup finals.
Kirkby’s under-16s walloped Scholes Park Raiders 10-0 at Bridlington to lift their trophy, with Ben Richmond leading the way with five goals.
Josh Berry (2), Conner Campbell (2) and Josh Butler also netted, while Max Fraser was the Moorsiders’ man of the match.
However, their U14s lost 6-0 to Fishburn Park at the same venue while their U11s lost 2-1 to Scalby Juniors.
Rory Leonard got the goal for the Moorsiders, whose man of the match was captain Toby Schofield in defence.
