GABBY McGill fired in four goals as Pickering Town Under-12s boosted their title hopes with a 7-0 tanking of Tadcaster.
A Ben Metcalfe brace and Thomas Richardson’s long-range strike completed the scoring.
Morgan Fraser and Ryan Gaughan netted as Brooklyn U14s beat title favourites Pocklington 2-1.
Goalkeeper Nick Lock earned man-of-the-match honours with three top-class saves while Liam Wheeler also hit the post for Brooklyn.
Bradley Freer’s penalty, after fellow joint man-of-the-match Jack Boyd was caught by an elbow, saw Brooklyn U13s draw 1-1 at Carr Vikings.
Brooklyn U12s were 7-4 winners at Tockwith with Tom Walsh hitting a hat-trick and Stephen Kerr (2), Jake Ullah and Josh Wade also on target.
Kirkbymoorside U12s lost 5-3 at Scalby despite Adam Eustace (2) and Lucas Davison efforts.
Man-of-the-match Lewis Pople hit a hat-trick as Old Malton U10s ‘A’ twice came from behind to win 5-3 at Osbaldwick ‘A’.
Von Sumsard scored two goals to put Malt in command, while debutant Joseph Boyes did well in a good all round team performance.
A confident performance with excellent defending from Lorcan Tobin brough Old Malton U10s ‘B’ a 4-0 win at Osbaldwick ‘B’. Man-of-the-match Arthur Rees scored a hat-trick with Lysander Jones also netting.
Eden Cross’ double strike saw Brooklyn U9 Lions turn the tables on Bishopthorpe ‘A’ with a 2-0 win after losing the first match between the two sides by the same scoreline.
Brooklyn U9 Tigers went down 2-1 to Bishopthorpe ‘B’ despite Josh Garvey’s goal and a man-of-the-match display by Danny Kaye.
Nick Audsley’s hat-trick helped Kirkbymoorside U9s beat Holts 6-3 with Josh Taylor (2) and Harvey Wood his fellow marksmen. A day earlier, Audsley had got the only goal as the U9s lost 5-1 to SP Marauders.
Ethan Oakes (4) and leading marksman Oilver Towse netted in Brooklyn U8 Lions’ 5-1 triumph over Poppleton.
In the second match, Lions won 3-1 thanks to Towse, captain Will Lightfoot and Dylan Dykes, who shared the man-of-the-match accolade with Joe O’Brien.
Player-of-the-match Jamie Scurry made several fine saves to keep the score down as Brooklyn U8 Tigers lost 5-0 to Poppleton ‘B’.
Emily Cooper, meanwhile, got the consolation during a 5-1 defeat in the second game.
Kirkbymoorside U14 Girls lost 3-0 to Scarborough Ladies but the Moorsiders’ U11s enjoyed a 3-0 triumph at Brayton Belles thanks to Lucie Nichols (2) and Abbie Magson.
• Brooklyn U14s have been drawn away to Wigginton Grasshoppers in the semi-finals of the York FA Intermediate (Junior) U14s Minor Cup, on Sunday, March 4 (2pm).
Scarborough & District FA cup semi-final draws have also been made.
Senior Minor Cup for under-16s: Scarborough Athletic v Kirkbymoorside, FC Seamer v Eastfield SA (March 11).
Minor Cup for U14s: Fishburn Park ‘A’ v West Pier, Goldsborough v Kirkbymoorside (March 11).
Junior Minor Cup for U12s: Ayton Athletic v Thornton-le-Dale, Pickering Town v Burlington Jackdaws (March 11).
