Adam Milner pipped in Scarborough DMC`s Jacky Baxter trial

Leavening’s Adam Milner, riding his Acklam Beta, was in fine form but could only manage runner-up spot in the Masters Class at Scarborough DMC`s Jacky Baxter trial at Harwood Dale on Sunday.

MRS Sherco rider Andy Chilton, from Whitby, stormed to a great win, with Scarborough`s Simon Kershaw third.

The 12-section, three-lap course gave the good class entry of 70 riders their money’s worth.

Sam Haywood from Brotton continued his purple patch to win the inter class from Kirkbymoorside’s Mark Harrison out on an old Gasser.

Youth ‘A’ class brought a clutch of youngsters together for a hard days competition and Dan Peace, of Kirkbymoorside, won out.
