OLD Malton Under-10s ‘A’ hammered in 24 goals during two games against Bishopthorpe WR.

An 11-0 victory was followed by a 13-0 triumph against the same opponents following a long winter break.

The goals were shared between Jack Wiles, Samuel Mann, William Rodgers, Arthur Rees and Patrick Jackson.

Man-of-the-match awards went to Lewis Pople and Josh Lee.

Old Malton U10s ‘B’ also enjoyed two wins against Bishopthorpe, securing 6-1 and 3-1 successes.

Lysander Jones and Theo Wilkes were man-of-the-match winners and leading goalscorers with Charlie Coulson, Harry Bennett and Joseph Matique netting as well.

A Tom Everitt brace saw Old Malton U14s draw 2-2 against Rufforth with Josh Hill the star man.

Jake Edwards-Nutton hit a hat-trick as Kirbymoorside U9s beat Holts 5-1 with Nick Audsley and Thomas Fairburn also on the scoresheet.

Kirkbymoorside U10s were 4-1 winners at West Pier thanks to Ben Teasdale (2), Ollie Magson and Matthew Tarry, but Keelan Simpson (3) and Ryan Mintoft efforts could not save Kirkbymoorside U12s from going down 5-4 at Cayton.

Man-of-the-match Josh Coulthard grabbed the only goal of the game in Brooklyn U10 Lions’ victory at York RI with hard-working midfielder Nathan Dyer named team player of the match.

Brooklyn U10 Tigers lost 5-3 to the same hosts despite three goals from Oliver Townley.

Morgan Fraser and Marcus Brigham were on target during Brooklyn U13s’ 2-2 draw against Fulford with Liam Wheeler named man of the match.

Joel Preston scored twice from the penalty spot but Brooklyn U15s lost a nine-goal thriller at York RI despite Steve Hoggard and Blane Wilford also finding the net and Scott Bown’s superb defending earning him man-of-the-match honours.

Hard-working midfielder Josh Garvey was the pick of Brooklyn U8s’ Lions in a 9-0 defeat to Rawcliffe while goalkeeper Riley Howe was in fantastic form to prevent Brooklyn U8 Tigers going down by more than 7-0 against the same club.

Pickering Town U12s were unlucky to lose 2-1 to league leaders Tockwith after Louis Knight opened the scoring.

Jack Balderson got the consolation for Pickering Town U10s ‘A’ in a 4-1 defeat to Wigginton.

Frustratingly, the side won the friendly match 5-0 with Silas Grace (2), Aidan Taylor, Matty Nicholson and Balderson the marksmen.

Jordan Anderson struck three times to earn Pickering Town U10s ‘B’ a 3-3 draw at Wigginton.

The home side went on to win the friendly match 9-2 with Anderson and Tom Dawson replaying.
