KIRKBYMOORSIDE Under-15s played out a goal fest game at Woodthorpe Wanderers in one of few junior matches in North Yorkshire to beat the weather at the weekend.
The young Moorsiders ended up losing 7-5 in their York Motorsports Village Minor League U15s division two encounter.
Old Malton St Mary's U14s were also in action, but their game at home to Wigginton Grasshoppers was abandoned late on due to injury with Saints leading 4-3.
Only two games went ahead in the Scarborough & District Minor League, both in the U13s section.
Flixton U13s won 7-0 at Holt 0 Flixton 7, while Kirkbymoorside U13s beat Ayton Athletic 3-1.
