FREYA MORTON hit five goals as Kirkbymoorside Ladies won 8-0 at York RI in the York U18s Girls League.
Meg Green (2) and Faye Thornton were also on the mark.
Heslerton U15s ladies were edged out 1-0 in an even York Girls League contest at Copmanthorpe, whose goal came from a scramble to win 1-0. Hezzo's Hollie Troop dominated midfield and was named girl of the game.
Unlucky Brooklyn U12s Girls lost 1-0 to a goal in the very first minute against York Girls League champions York RI – a tame shot that skidded through off the wet surface.
Brooklyn pressed for an equaliser and gave a great performance as both teams played excellent football.
