Dan Ward, left, plays for Yorkshire U13s ‘A’ team, and Ryan Taylor, right, for Yorkshire U15s ‘B’ team.
They both represent North Yorkshire for their age groups, and play for Pickering seconds, intermediates and U15s ‘A’ teams.
Ward, a Ryedale School pupil from Kirkbymoorside, is a fast bowler and middle-order batsman who has been training on his Silver Pathways to Excellence at Headingley, and Taylor a wicketkeeper batsman, has been training through the winter on his Bronze Pathways to Excellence at the leisure centre in Pickering. Taylor lives in Pickering and goes to Lady Lumley’s School
Pickering Juniors head coach Ady Boyes said: "I am very proud of them both."
