JACK VILLA FORDON completed a hat-trick inside 12 minutes to send Old Malton St Mary's U13s en route to 9-1 York Minor League win over an under-strength Strensall side.

Jake Wiles added two, before Matthew Jefferson scored his first goal for the club just before half-time.

Oliver Weatherill also opened his account for the club just after the break, before Villa Fordon added two more to his tally.

Kirkbymoorside U15s saw off Holts 5-0 in the Scarborough & District Minor League.

Toby Teasdale bagged a brace and Johan Pollard the other goal as Kirkbymoorside U12s beat Scalby 3-1 in the Scarborough & District Minor League.

Meg Green hit a hat-trick as Kirkbymoorside U16s Ladies beat York RI 3-1 in the York Girls League, while Lucie Nichols did likewise as Kirkbymoorside U13 Girls beat Copmanthorpe by the same scoreline.

Brooklyn U11s Girls beat Poppleton 4-0.

Brooklyn started slowly but defenders Jess Scholefield and Katie Robinson kept the opposition at bay, and they got the breakthrough when top-scorer Florence Pegrum struck twice in two minutes.

Brooklyn were on top throughout the second period, and their pressure finally paid off when Rosie Smith finished off a good move for her first goal of the season. Emily Cooper broke free to score the fourth.
