Yorkshire knocked out of Champions League t20

YORKSHIRE bowed out of the Champions League t20 after a tense five-wicket defeat to Highveld Lions in Johannesburg.

The Tykes lost the toss and were put into bat, making 131-7 from their 20 overs, Phil Jaques top-scoring with 31.

The South African side clinched victory and their place in the semi-finals as they won with four balls to spare.

Yorkshire's final game is against Chennai Super Kings on Monday (12.30pm UK time).
