Golf: Sheila Burton wins Allerthorpe Park's Summer Cup

ALLERTHORPE Park GC’s inaugural ladies’ Summer Cup was won by Sheila Burton.
She totalled 38 points in the 18-hole individual stableford event, sponsored by fellow member Chris Hyde, two points clear of Anne Cahalin, who took second place on count-back from Ruby Young.
Nearest the pin on the eighth hole was Sheila Botham, while the prize on the 18th hole was won by Sue Carrington-Forster.
