Rain stalls Yorkshire's progress against Derbyshire
3:43pm Friday 17th August 2012 in Sport By Chris Parrott
RAIN has forced an early tea interval on day three of Yorkshire’s LV= County Championship division two match with Derbyshire at Headingley.
By the time the weather interruption came in Leeds, the Falcons had reached 163-5 in their first-innings.
It meant they were still 257 runs behind the Tykes total of 420.
Wes Durston was the only man to fall during the afternoon session, when he was bowled by Azeem Rafiq for 84.
The men in the middle at tea were Ross Whiteley on 29 and David Wainwright on seven.
