Bowls: Knockout trophy for Helmsley team

Helmsley Bowling Club team won the Fred Husband Knockout Trophy by beating a team from Strensall Bowling Club in the final held at Swinton.

To reach the final, Helmsley beat strong opposition from Terrington and Malton bowling clubs.

Helmsley also won the competition last year.
