York golfer Simon Dyson storms up Open Championship leaderboard

YORK golfer Simon Dyson shot up the leaderboard at the Open Championship with a sensational second round of 67.
The 34-year-old, who opened up with a two over par 72 yesterday, signed for one of the best rounds of day two at Royal Lytham.
The Malton & Norton Golf Club ace bogeyed the third hole, but was blemish free thereafter as he picked up shots at seventh, ninth, 11th and 17th holes.
That left him tied for 15th place on one under par, but with a host of players still out on the course.
