Senior Cricket League: Bolton Percy down Pocklington

LEADERS Bolton Percy boosted their title cause when they defeated Pocklington by 26 runs in division six of the Hunters York & District Senior Cricket League.
They were indebted to the batting of Ed Noble (44) and Mike Furze (43) who combatted R Lockwood (3-39) and W Procter (3-21) to take Bolton to 136.
This seemingly modest total transpired to be adequate as Martin Ferguson’s 4-20 saw off Pocklington’s reply at 110 all out.
