Yorkshire have made an excellent start to their LV=County Championship match with Hampshire at Headingley.
After losing the toss and being asked to field, they had reduced their opponents to 92 for four at lunch.
Steve Patterson was the pick of the bowlers with two wickets in the morning session, with Ryan Sidebottom and Iain Wardlaw also striking.
Sidebottom’s dismissal of Liam Dawson in just the third over was his 550th in the first-class game.
At lunch, Simon Katich was unbeaten on 58 for Hampshire, with Sean Ervine on 0.
Yorkshire have made two changes to their side from last week’s win over Gloucestershire.
Iain Wardlaw has replaced Tim Bresnan who is away with England, with Joe Root returning from England Lions duty to take the place of Joe Sayers
