A SUB-PAR weekend saw Simon Dyson climb to a share of 17th place in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championships.
The York golfer fired a four-under-par 68 on Saturday and closed the tournament with a two-under 70 to finish on six-under-par alongside the likes of Lee Westwood and Charl Schwartzel.
Dyson, who earned 25,194 euros for his efforts, carded five birdies and three bogeys in his final round as he finished seven shots shy of winner Robert Rock.
Having carded back-to-back opening rounds of level-par 72, Dyson shot 13 places up the leaderboard on Saturday with five birdies and a bogey.
