Yorkshire have signed Warwickshire leg-spinner Josh Poysden for just one match.

The 26-year-old will join the White Rose on loan for the Specsavers County Championship Division One clash with Roses rivals Lancashire at Old Trafford from Sunday.

Yorkshire have struggled for a spinner in the four-day game this season, with Adil Rashid committed to only white-ball cricket and Azeem Rafiq and Karl Carver out of favour.

Director of cricket Martyn Moxon said: "We're pleased to have Josh come in on loan for this game.

"It's obviously an area we've not quite filled this season from the players that we have got at the club at the moment.

"We feel we need a frontline spinner for this game and we're delighted that Josh has agreed to join us and that Warwickshire have allowed him to come."
