ONLY eight balls were bowled during the third morning at Emerald Headingley due to rain.
Yorkshire are chasing a second-round Specsavers County Championship victory over Nottinghamshire, with just enough time for Gary Ballance and Jack Leaning to bring up a century partnership for the fifth wicket as the hosts moved to 198-4 in their second innings, a lead of 266.
When plays resumes, hopefully at 1.20pm following an early lunch, Ballance will begin on 81 and Leaning on 37.
The start of play had been delayed by 20 minutes due to rain, the first of two delays.
