JESSBER'S Dream proved quite a star for Harry Fry last season and can pick up where she left off for new connections in the OLBG Mares' Hurdle at Kempton.

The six-year-old changed hands for £190,000 during the summer and new handler Paul Nicholls certainly has plenty to work with judged on her efforts during the 2015-16 campaign.

Jessber's Dream finished fourth behind the classy La Bague Au Roi in an Aintree bumper on her British bow but quickly sent over hurdles, she never looked back in placing first or second on each of her six subsequent runs.

Victories at Lingfield and Exeter as well as a Grade Two verdict at Sandown back in February prompted connections to make the step up to Grade One level in the spring, sending Jessber's Dream to Fairyhouse at Easter.

While she was eventually well beaten by Jer's Girl that day, she deserved plenty of credit in finishing second, particularly as third-placed Asthuria has already boosted the form with a fine victory on her return.

Jessber's Dream is clearly a classy recruit for the Ditcheat team and she can repay a small chunk of her purchase price.

All eyes will be an Altior as he makes his chasing bow in the two-runner Weatherbys Supports Starlight Novices' Chase and it will be a huge shock if he cannot strike at the first time of asking.

Nicky Henderson has had his eye on this race for some time with the six-year-old after connections decided to skip a Champion Hurdle-focussed campaign in favour of a switch straight to fences.

It is a brave call as Altior would surely have been a leading player in the two-mile division – particularly with a few clouds currently hanging over Annie Power and Faugheen – after finishing last term unbeaten in five hurdles outings and boasting a rating of 160.

His seven-length destruction of hotpot Min in the Supreme at the Cheltenham Festival admirably demonstrated Altior's seemingly limitless ability and it must be noted that his hurdling was pretty much exemplary throughout the entirety of last season, which bodes well for tackling fences.

Henderson has made no secret of the fact he thinks this horse is special and Altior can now start to confirm that impression in the chasing sphere, too.

Noche De Reyes can make the most of a drop back in company for the At totepoolracing For All Your Racing News Handicap Chase at Ludlow.

Second in a Listed heat at Ascot on his return, Noche De Reyes was raised just 1lb for that effort and Tom George appears to have found a winnable event.

Claim The Roses ran no sort of race at York but should be given chance to redeem himself in the totetrifecta Pick The 1,2,3 Handicap at Chelmsford.

His jockey eased him down on the Knavesmire when his chance was gone on what was just his third start of the year, but his previous efforts suggests he might be worth supporting again.

He had previously finished second at Yarmouth in September after being off the track for five months, so perhaps he suffered a bit of the bounce factor at York.

He has shown some decent form on the all-weather surfaces before, though, and could be one for Ed Vaughan to make hay with over the winter months.

Kimberella just fell short at Listed level at Lingfield just over a week ago but the toteswinger Three Ways To Win Handicap should be well within his compass.

The six-year-old was having just his second start on Polytrack but kept on all the way to the line as Lord Of The Land proved a shade too good in the finish.

This is certainly a competitive heat but Kimberella is in excellent heart and can continue to ply his trade to good effect.
