YORKSHIRE endured a chastening fourth morning against Lancashire at Emirates Old Trafford as they were set 367 in a minimum of 71 overs in their Specsavers County Championship Division One clash.
The hosts advanced their second innings from 70-0 from 21 overs overnight to 232-3 declared from 44.
Yorkshire reached lunch at 12-0 from six overs.
Lancashire’s teenaged opener Haseeb Hameed, 19, posted 100 not out as he scored his second century of the match - only the third from either side to ever do it in this fixture.
Tim Bresnan struck twice and Adil Rashid once, including Tom Smith for 87.
