STRATH Burn will doubtless have some big races on his agenda this season and he can get the campaign off to a winning start in the Weatherbys Private Bank Leisure Stakes at Windsor.

Charlie Hills has entered the four-year-old in both the King's Stand and Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot as well as the July Cup and if those sort of ambitions are to bear fruit, he should really be winning this contest despite lacking the race fitness of a few of his rivals.

Strath Burn has upwards of 4lb in hand of his rivals here judged on his official rating of 116, but the conditions of the race mean he escapes any penalty for last season's exploits.

He ascended the ranks last term when winning the Hackwood Stakes before going on to be touched off by just a short head in the Sprint Cup at Haydock.

The Equiano colt would likely have been on top in another stride and his run deserves all the more credit as he appeared to be drawn on the unfavourable side of the track that day, too.

His campaign ended on a sour note with a heavy defeat in the British Champion Sprint Stakes at Ascot last October, but he returned home lame and it is best to just put a line through that effort.

Fully recovered over the winter months, Strath Burn is the one they all have to catch here.

Francisco has been the subject of some positive gallops reports and is worth an interest in the Sky Bet Windsor Sprint Series Handicap.

Richard Hannon's charge returned from a lengthy lay off to finish second at Newbury earlier this month, trying to make all before tiring in the finish.

He should strip much fitter for that outing and is one that could be open to plenty of improvement.

Foresight has hit the bar in both his starts so far but his turn in the spotlight can come in the Sky Bet Maiden Stakes.

Robanne found the 1000 Guineas a tough ask last time but she should find a drop in level for the Sharnford Fillies' Conditions Stakes at Leicester much more to her liking.

Winner of a Salisbury maiden, William Knight clearly though a bit of her from an early stage as he immediately stepped her up to Group Three company for the Oh So Sharp Stakes where she finished a highly creditable third.

She also filled that position on her seasonal bow this term, kept to Group Three company for the Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket.

Beaten two and a quarter lengths by Nathra and looking as though the step up to a mile would suit, connections understandably decided to take a punt in the fillies' Classic.

The gamble did not really pay off as Robanne performed about as well as her 50-1 price tag suggested she would, fading in the closing stages to eventually finish more than 16 lengths behind brilliant winner Minding.

Robanne should certainly not be written off on the basis of that run, though, and dropping back to seven furlongs, this daughter of Paco Boy can get back on the winning trail.

Erik The Red can strike gold in the racinguk.com/hd Handicap at Ayr following a fine return effort at York earlier this month.

Beaten a length by Nayel in third, the fact he is entered in the Royal Hunt Cup means trainer Kevin Ryan clearly thinks he has ability and is competitively rated.

Bargain Buy has won one of her two starts this term and she can further augment those statistics in the ApolloBet Weekly Golf Returns Handicap at Carlisle.
