YORKSHIRE are 61-3 – still 190 runs in arrears – and are yet to guarantee a draw as Somerset hang onto hope of an unlikely victory in Taunton in their Specsavers County Championship Division One clash.

After losing Adam Lyth early in the middle session – bowled by Jamie Overton for 18 – Alex Lees and Stamford Bridge's Will Rhodes batted for 18 overs and took Yorkshire to 45-1 as the game appeared all but over.

But in short time, Rhodes (18) was caught at short leg and Lees (11 off 97 balls) shouldered arms to Overton as the home side gun for maximum points.

After a poor weather forecast, the sun has come out this afternoon in Taunton, and Yorkshire are still required to face another 30 overs.

Skipper Andrew Gale and Gary Ballance (both five not out) will hope to see off the impressive Overton after the tea break and snuff out any chance of a Somerset victory.
