YORKSHIRE have enjoyed a profitable second afternoon, despite losing three wickets, against Warwickshire at Edgbaston.
Jack Leaning, Gary Ballance and Liam Plunkett have all fallen during a rain-affected day of this Specsavers County Championship match.
Play did not begin until 1.30pm before another spell off the field 50 minutes later. Play restarted at 3pm, and but there has been another interruption since.
Yorkshire have advanced from 177-4 overnight to 308-7 from 90 overs at tea.
Leaning was caught behind off Chris Woakes for 51, and Ballance fell the same way to Keith Barker for 68, as did Plunkett for 26 to Rikki Clarke.
Plunkett’s departure left the champions on 252-7 after 78 overs, but half-centurion Adil Rashid and Steve Patterson have added an unbroken 56.
Rashid will begin the evening on 52 and Patterson, who has been the aggressor, 30.
