IT CERTAINLY pays to follow Nicky Henderson's horses at Doncaster.

In the last five seasons, the Lambourn trainer has saddled 37 winners from 90 runners at the Yorkshire course – and Vyta Du Roc and Divine Spear can enhance those figures on Town Moor this afternoon.

The crownhotel-bawtry.com Novices' Chase is the target for VYTA DU ROC as he aims to follow up his comeback success at Bangor last month.

That victory may not have impressed everyone, as Henderson's gelding got home by only half a length from The Saint James after being sent off the 4-9 favourite.

Vyta Du Roc, however, was having his first outing of the season that day and, after making all the running, may have been feeling the effects late in the contest.

He is fancied to strip a good deal fitter today and is selected to double his chasing tally.

Nico de Boinville, who rides Vyta Du Roc, also takes the mount on stablemate DIVINE SPEAR in the 1stsecruritysolutions.co.uk Maiden Hurdle.

The five-year-old has not been seen on a racecourse for eight months but he won a Towcester bumper by a wide margin on his one and only appearance and looks a nice prospect.

He will have been well schooled for this hurdling debut and it would be no surprise to see him prevail.

Sam Twiston-Davies, whose mount Baoulet Delaroque is probably the biggest danger to Divine Spear, can clinch the Premier Quality Foods 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle on stable companion LE PREZIEN.

The six-year-old followed up a promising second-placed effort behind the potentially top-class Yanworth at Warwick with a six-lengths win at Ludlow three weeks ago. Le Prezien is fancied to defy a penalty.

Also worth noting at Doncaster is DONNA'S PRIDE (1.20), who chased home Catherines Well here 12 days ago and who may not encounter quite as a talented a rival this time.

LOVELY JOB (2.25), who shaped well to finish second at Leicester last month on his first run of the campaign, is another good shout.

Richard Fahey has a couple of decent chances at Wolverhampton's twilight fixture.

The Malton trainer saddles ESPOIR in the 32RedSport.com Handicap and Jack Garritty's mount has good prospects on her handicap debut off a lowly mark of 55 after finishing fourth in maiden company on this course three weeks ago. She is awarded the nap vote.

INAAM also represents Fahey in the £10 Free At 32Red.com Handicap.

The mount of David Nolan, the three-year-old finished a close-up third in a similar event at Southwell on his latest start and would not need to improve much to get on top this time.

WITH HINDSIGHT is selected to complete a hat-trick in the 32Red.com Handicap, with Steve Gollings' tough gelding having won on his last two appearances at Wolverhampton.

Those successes were gained off marks of 65 and 67 and he is only 3lb higher here. He can oblige again with Luke Morris, who knows him well, in the saddle.

The Download The New Unibet Racing App Handicap is a competitive race but STOCKING may be able to show her rivals a clean pair of heels.

A close-up third at Chelmsford last time, Roger Varian's filly was a winner on this course in October. She has leading claims on her first visit back to Dunstall Park since her victory.

The promising MONDIAL (4.15) can win the opener for Godolphin, while QUITE SPARKY (6.45) could well provide Malton trainer Lucinda Egerton with her first Flat winner if things fall right for him in the concluding handicap.
