NORTH Yorkshire trainer Alan Swinbank, who completed a double over hurdles at Carlisle yesterday, can figure among the Flat winners at Wolverhampton this afternoon.

Swinbank saddles Entihaa in the 32Red.com Handicap with Joe Fanning in the saddle and the seven-year-old is fancied to return to winning ways.

Although only fifth at Kempton last time out, Entihaa is likely to appreciate the return to this course where he has won twice from six all-weather outings.

This trip of an extended two miles is right up his street and, despite having to carry top weight, Entihaa is expected to beat the in-form Swinbank.

Silas R will be a popular choice in the 32Red Nursery Handicap.

A slow-maturing juvenile trained by Sir Mark Prescott, Silas R came good in workmanlike style at Chelmsford last week when upped to ten furlongs for the first time. Although he drops back slightly in trip here, this does not look a competitive race and Silas R is taken to defy a penalty under Luke Morris.

With Hindsight makes plenty of appeal in the opening 32RedSport.com Handicap for amateur riders.

Trained in Lincolnshire by Steve Gollings, the seven-year-old was a winner at Catterick and runner-up at Redcar on his last two turf runs.

Switching to the all-weather will not be a problem as he has won three of his 21 starts on an artificial surface and is a previous winner on this course.

With Hindsight is paired-up here with Simon Walker, who is the most successful and experienced of these riders. The partnership is napped to prevail.

Two female apprentices have chances of winners on the Dunstall Park programme. Josephine Gordon is selected to ride the 12th winner of her career on the well-drawn Romancingthestone (1.25) while Sophie Killoran can score on Bush Beauty (1.55) on whom she won on his course two starts ago.

At Kempton, Helmsley trainer David O'Meara has good prospects of recording a double with Break Free and Foreign Diplomat.

Break Free, who runs in the betdaq.com Nursery Handicap, finished a creditable second to Secret Interlude at Wolverhampton, while Foreign Diplomat failed by a head to beat Rouage Nuage on his latest start. A slight step-up on that near-miss may enable Foreign Diplomat to go one better here in the hands of Godolphin jockey James Doyle.

O'Meara, incidentally, is set to be represented in Hong Kong in a fortnight's time by Mondialiste. The classy French recruit, a Pontefract and York winner in the second half of the season, has since won a top race in Canada and finished second in the Breeders' Cup Mile at Keeneland in the US.

In the two divisions of the British Stallion Studs Maiden Stakes, Golden Stunner and Up To You, both representing powerful stables, catch the eye.

Golden Stunner is overdue a win after finishing runner-up at Windsor and Chelmsford on her last two starts. Ralph Beckett's filly will be partnered by Martin Lane.

Robert Havlin takes the mount on the John Gosden-trained Up To You, a beaten favourite on her debut when runner-up at LIngfield 11 days ago.

That experience will not have been wasted on her. Also worth noting at Kempton are previous course winner Choral Clan (3-20) and the consistent Maymyo (5.50).
