NORTH Yorkshire trainer Mark Johnston, who has a powerful team heading to York this week from his Middleham base, can figure among the winners at Ripon this afternoon.

Johnston saddles King's Pavilion in the At The Races App On iphone And Android Nursery Handicap.

Silvestre de Sousa, who is blazing a furious trail in the jockeys' championship, takes the mount on King's Pavilion, who was a winner at Wetherby on his penultimate start. The juvenile has since been a beaten favourite at Chester, but it's not every horse that takes to the tight Roodee track and he is forgiven that effort.

A strong galloping horse, who should appreciate this step up in trip, King's Pavilion can claim this prize for Johnston, whose York runners include the exciting Lumiere, who is heading to tomorrow's Lowther Stakes.

David O'Meara is another trainer hoping to get on the York scoresheet. The Nawton handler saddles Chancery in the featured Attheraces.com City Of Ripon Handicap over a mile and a half.

The seven-year-old is a previous winner over this course and distance and produced a solid effort here last month when finishing a close-up fourth to Pressure Point. He should go well under Danny Tudhope.

Richard Fahey, yet another North Yorkshire trainer with high hopes at the Ebor Festival, also has winning chances at Ripon.

His Mfifythreedotcom is dropped in class in the At The Races App Is Here Selling Stakes, while the Malton trainer is doubly-represented by Bint Kodiac and Showbizzy in the following Download The New At The Races App Maiden Fillies' Stakes.

Tony Hamilton, Fahey's stable jockey, takes the mount on newcomer Showbizzy, who is speedily-bred and is well enough drawn to give her every chance of making a winning debut.

Also worth noting are Chepstow winner Fleeting Visit (3.30), who looks open to plenty of further improvement, and Mick Easterby's Day Of The Eagle (4.00), who is napped to return to winning ways, reunited with Graham Gibbons after a narrow defeat when amateur ridden at Carlisle recently.

At Leicester's evening meeting, Sammy Jo Bell, who is going great guns this season, has a good chance of figuring among the winners on Spirit Of Zeb in the 7.40.

The Malton-based apprentice rode a double at Doncaster on Saturday which came hot on the heels of her sensational double in the Shergar Cup at Ascot.

Spirit Of Zeb has been running consistently well and looks sure to be on the premises again here.

Richard Fahey, trainer of Spirit Of Zeb, also has good prospects with Powerallied in the

David Nolan's mount, a Musselburgh winner earlier in the season, finished fourth in nursery company at Chester last time. He is fancied to build on that display dropped back to five furlongs.

The hat-trick seeking American Artist (7.10) and the consistent Perfect Bounty (8.10) are two others to consider.
