PAUL HANAGAN and Ryan Moore can dominate this afternoon's Doncaster meeting by winning the first five races on the card.

Hanagan can draw first blood on ALSAADEN in the opening Normanide Stud Maiden Stakes. Trained by Richard Hannon, the juvenile bids to go one better than when making his debut here three weeks ago when he was beaten a short head by Raaqy, ridden by Hanagan.

There was plenty to like about that performance and although there are several interesting newcomers in this race, Alsaaden makes plenty of appeal.

Hanagan can also score on TAFAHOM in the Meadowbank Vac Alloys Ltd Handicap.

The Barry Hills-trained colt has been raised 6lb for his recent neck victory at Nottingham. That, however, was only his fifth career start and he is open to further improvement.

Moore, who stole the show at Royal Ascot last week, can provide a further reminder of his talents by completing a treble on Town Moor, initiated by TORMENT in the Racing Post Supports Racing Welfare Novice Stakes.

This Hannon youngster looked smart when making a winning debut at Windsor earlier this month. Although he is opposed by three other previous winners here, he will surely be hard to beat.

Moore takes a rare ride for trainer Ed McMahon in the CL MediCall Aid Handicap on ROCKET RONNIE.

The five-year-old looks to be running into form and in a contest that may not take an awful lot of winning, he could be the one to be on.

Moore teams up with his great ally Sir Michael Stoute in the Winning Enclosure Racing Syndicate Maiden Fillies' Stakes, courtesy of the promising YET AGAIN.

Unraced as a juvenile, the three-year-old was made favourite for her debut at Newbury in April, which suggests she had been showing plenty at home. In the event, she could finish only fifth, but she was far from disgraced and appeals as a filly who has a lot more to offer.

Also worth noting at Doncaster on a day which is in aid of Racing Welfare, SLUNOVRAT (4.45pm) can make the most of bottom weight and MO HENRY (5.15pm), the mount of George Chaloner, is fancied to concede weight all round in the concluding sprint handicap.

Newcastle's evening meeting is highlighted by the £40,000 Betfred TV/EBF Stallions Hoppings Stakes, a Listed race for fillies.

TALMADA has the form to win this event for Roger Varian and with James Doyle in the saddle.

Runner-up in the Middleton Stakes at York - a Group 2 affair - at York in May, Talmada has since occupied fourth place in Group 3 company at Haydock. She has done enough to suggest a Listed race such as this is within her scope.

The Betfred Gosforth Cup is an historic race at Newcastle and Michael Dods is fancied to take this year's honours with DESERT ACE, the mount of Paul Mulrennan.

The gelding, formerly trained by Clive Cox, finished an excellent second to the in-form Red Baron in a valuable race at Musselburgh last time. If he reproduces that form tonight, he will be a tough nut to crack.

Dods can also win the opening maiden with the promising LORD OF THE ROCKS (6.10pm), while EXOTIC GUEST (8.45pm), a creditable fifth at Catterick last time, should not be overlooked on behalf of Stillington trainer Ruth Carr, whose horses are in fine form. The nap vote goes to BOLLIHOPE (6.40pm), a fluent winner at Haydock two weeks ago.
