Yorkshire are closing in on victory over the MCC in Abu Dhabi after another five-wicket afternoon session on day three.

The county champions have reduced Nick Compton’s side from 125-2 to 210-7 at tea in the second innings, and they only lead by 59 runs with 31 overs left in the day.

Will Rhodes struck with only his second ball when he had Compton caught behind for 74 before Jack Brooks and Steve Patterson also struck once and Adil Rashid twice.

Durham bowler Graham Onions will bat for the MCC despite a groin injury.
