TEENAGE North Yorkshire apprentice Josh Doyle, who has chalked up five winners in 2014, can add another success to his tally at Wolverhampton this afternoon on the final day of racing action until the big Boxing Day bonanza on Friday.

Doyle, who is attached to the Nawton, Helmsley yard of David O'Meara, teams up with his boss in the Daily Price Boosts At Unibet Handicap when he rides Scoreline, one of 12 runners in this five-furlong dash.

Although it is some time since Scoreline last got his head in front, he has been running creditably lately, finishing a respectable fourth at Southwell on his last two outings. He also finished fourth on this course in September to Thataboy and, with Doyle's 7lb claim taken into advantage, is now set to meet that winner on 14lb better terms.

Well berthed in stall one, Scoreline can improve Doyle's scoreline by taking this sprint handicap.

Malton jockey David Nolan, pictured, who has enjoyed his best campaign this year, rode a double at Wolverhampton last Friday and there is every chance he can again make his mark, courtesy of L'Inganno Felice in the Coral Connect Handicap.

Trained by Iain Jardine, who does well with his small string of horses, this French recruit won over this course and distance early in the month and had nearly four lengths to spare at the line.

His task this afternoon, in handicap company and conceding weight to all but one of his rivals, is obviously a stiffer one. But L'Inganno Felice is a horse on the upgrade and he is taken to come through with flying colours.

Percys Princess may prove the solution to the Best Odds Guaranteed At Coral Handicap over a mile and a half.

Michael Appleby's filly showed improved form for stepping up to this distance for the first time at Southwell nine days ago when finishing a close-up second. She has only had seven races in her career, and five on a synthetic surface. There is surely more to come from her.

In the featured Ladbrokes Handicap, Rich Again, trained at Middleham by James Bethell, can make the most of bottom weight.

A winner over this course and distance ten days ago, Rich Again is set to race here off only a 2lb higher mark. He promises to make a bold bid.

Over the jumps at Bangor, a note should be made of nap selection Western Xpress in the Goldford Stud National Hunt Flat Race.

Although he has not seen a racecourse since June 2013, there was plenty of promise in his last outing as he ran Clever Cookie to a neck at Market Rasen. Considering the winner has since gone on to win a Grade 2 hurdle for North Yorkshire trainer Peter Niven, and also gain Listed glory on the Flat, Western Xpress deserves plenty of respect for giving him a race on only his second public appearance.

Although his fitness today is hardly guaranteed after being sidelined for so long, his trainer Peter Bowen is a past master at bringing horses back after a long break in good nick. He is not to be underestimated.

Venetia Williams is going great guns this season and she can add to her tally with Stone Light in the Global Retail Interiors Handicap Chase.

A winner at Warwick last March after a good second-placed effort at Newbury, Stone Light will surely have benefited from his comeback effort at Ascot seven weeks ago when he finished fifth. Aidan Coleman rides.

Ma Du Fou makes plenty of appeal in the Fourseasons Marquee Hire Maiden Hurdle.

Trained by the in-form Warren Greatrex, the four-year-old, winner of a Wetherby bumper on his only start last season, finished an encouraging third on his hurdling debut on the same course last month to the useful The Grey Taylor.

That race was over an extended two miles and the step up to two and a half miles this time should be right up the street of Ma Du Fou. He is expected to take plenty of beating.
