TADCASTER Albion cruised into the last 32 of the FA Vase with a 4-2 victory at St Helens Town.

The Brewers led 3-0 at the interval after a superb first half display, skipper Nick Thompson opening the scoring on nine minutes before Denny Ingram netted on 21 minutes and Josh Greening scoring six minutes later.

Greening's second on 61 minutes made it 4-0 before the home side responded with a 73rd minute goal for Andy Gillespie and a last minute effort by Marcus Perry.

Pickering Town goalkeeper Toby Wells was red-carded in a 6-2 home defeat by Cleethorpes Town in the Northern Counties East League premier division.

Wells was sent off in the 36th minute for bringing down Jonathan Oglesby in the area and Louis Grant netted from the spot.

The Pikes' ten men went 2-0 down in the 49th minute as Liam Dickens netted, before Grant's second made it 3-0 on 53 minutes.

Billy Logan pulled a goal back on the hour with a 25-yard strike and, after Grant completed his hat-trick on 67 minutes, Logan hit the net again with a 20-yard free-kick with 14 minutes remaining.

There was no way back, however, as Dickens bagged his second on 79 minutes and then Lawrence Heward rounded off the scoring with six minutes left.

Matty Start got Selby Town off to the perfect start at Clipstone in division one, but the hosts hit back to win 2-1.

Start scored on two minutes, but Daniel Wood levelled in the 32nd minute and got the winner on 66 minutes.

Knaresborough Town's home game against Winterton Rangers was postponed.

Harrogate Town lost 2-0 to Bradford Park Avenue in Conference North, with former Wetherby Road marksman Chib Chilaka getting the first on six minutes and Danny Frost adding a second on 53 minutes.

Adam Baker's 14th minute goal earned Harrogate Railway Athletic a 1-0 win at Lancaster City in Evo-Stik League division one north.

Scarborough Athletic bounced back from conceding a third minute goal to beat Kendal Town 2-1.

Jordan Nadat levelled on 21 minutes and Scott Lycett added a second three minutes before the break.
