Edgehill won 8-1 at lowly Ryedale Sports Club to bag their sixth win in six Scarborough & District League outings this season.

Carl Hepples and Danny Collins each scored two goals, with Liam Cooper, Liam Henderson, Jordan Shaw and Tom Hickin also notching.

Newlands Park impressed in beating Westover Wasps 4-1.

Drew McCoubrey scored a first-half hat-trick and, although Chris Hannam pulled a goal back for the visitors, Stu Bates sealed Park's win.

West Pier won 4-1 at Hunmanby United - Neil Thomas scoring a hat-trick and Gax Thomas a penalty.

Filey Town won 5-0 at Sleights with goals hared between Dan Baldry, Lalan Flynn, Ricky Tomlinson, Cameron Dobson and Gary Wardell.

Ayton improved to beat Whitby Fishermen 3-1 away - despite playing over a hour with 10 men after Mikey Pickering was sent off after receiving a second yellow card. Their goals were scored by Simon Rigg, Dan Peel and Rob Ward.

Second division leaders Scalby beat Duchess 4-2 thanks to goals by Carl Marton, Shaun Scales and Mike Hartnett (2). Ian Jenkinson and an own goal found the net at the other end.

Snainton lost 2-1 at fellow strugglers Rosette.

Lee Wardle and Danny Thompson put the hosts clear before Snainton pulled a goal back through a Leigh Watson free-kick 15 minutes from the end.
