SECOND-PLACED Duncombe Park enjoyed the better of a draw with leaders Osbaldwick in division two north.

Park made 222-5 and the visitors responding with 206-5. Alistair Holmes hit an unbeaten 63 for Park, while James Skelton made 51 and Brian Leckenby weighed in with 44.

In reply, Jonny Rawsthorne hit an unbeaten 87 and Matt Hattee made 60, but 3-30 by Joe Sails kept the Helmsley side ahead.

At Hovingham, Dringhouses were limited to 134-8 but still recorded a 32-run win when Mick Kenyon took 5-9 and George Wilson 3-33 to dismiss the hosts for 102.

Pocklington had a good 106-run win at Sheriff Hutton. Neil Jackson made 98 not out in Pock's 174 as David Hull captured 3-48.

Ted Donkin grabbed 4-18 and Connaire Brattan 3-10 to dismiss Sheriff for 68.

Ripon had a seven-wicket win at third placed Tadcaster Magnet to rise to sixth. Magnet were all out for 92.

York restricted Thirsk to 131-9 as Simon Hall took 4-14 and Tom Spearman 4-40, but York were whipped out
 

THERE was five wickets apiece for John Thornton and Ryan Turner as Clifton Alliance beat Hull by four wickets in division two south.

Hull were whipped out for only 66 as Thornton returned 5-15 and Turner 5-17 and Kev Bradley’s 32 steered Clifton home.

Phil Stothard hit 61 not out as Londesborough Park totalled 197-5, whil Charles Rook made 47.

Driffield's James Foster made 47, but they were dismissed for 173.

Second-placed Acomb defeated bottom side Thorp Arch & Boston Spa by 22 runs.

Acomb's James Fletcher hit 69 and Matt Williams 42 in a total of 213-7.

Arch's Nitikant Kasana hit 55 but Matt Williams returned 5-52 as they were bowled out for 189.
