AARON FINCH has admitted he is keen on a return to Yorkshire - and if it is next season, he is confident he will be part of an LV= County Championship title defending team.
The Australian overseas batsman left Headingley last weekend after a successful two-month stay with the county to join a national training camp.
He hit two blistering 80s in the NatWest T20 Blast, and in the Championship he scored 291 runs from five matches at an average of 48.50, including one century and one 50.
“It was amazing, the whole club, the backroom staff, the players, the supporters, they were all unbelievable. I loved every minute of it,” said the former Clifton Alliance star.
“I would love to come back. Even if it’s not next year, I’d love to come back any chance I get.
“The guys have played brilliantly and hopefully they can complete the job.”
