DIVISION four central leaders Copmanthorpe lost their unbeaten record when they suffered a 51-run home defeat at the hands of Huby II.

Darren Howell struck an unbeaten 67 and Mike South made 33 as Huby made 149-6.

In reply, Andrew Godfrey made 34 but South took 3-7 as he and Ollie Tanner-Smith, with 4-37, bowled out Copmanthorpe for 98.

Osbaldwick had little difficulty in overcoming bottom side Cawood, who were nine wickets adrift after being dismissed for only 69.

Ollie Cambridge grabbed 4-11 and Ben Richardson 4-23 and Osbaldwick then lost only one wicket as H Middleton made 30 and Adam Thornton 34.

Anthony Walker made 44 and Scott Plowman 40 as Duncombe Park reached 177 against second-placed Civil Service, whose Nick Claxton took 5-15.

Ian Tessier then made 32 but Service tumbled to a 76-run defeat. John Armitage made 68 as Sheriff Hutton totalled 178-8 with John Routledge claiming 3-26 for New Earswick.

His side could only reply with 106-8 as V Coan took 4-15. Paul Coull made 40 and A Pepper 30.

Stillington conceded their game against Dringhouses due to shortage of players.

In division four east, Driffield Town lost by seven wickets at home to Cottingham.

The hosts made 170, with Damon Jenkinson hitting 88.

Beverley were unable to replay to hosts Brandesburton's 202-6 declared as the weather took hold.
