Golf: Win for Phil Hart in Men’s July Medal
PHIL HART won division one of the Men’s July Medal at Malton and Norton with a nett 68. Devin Vermuelen and A Rogerson took divisions two and three respectively.
On Ladies’ Invitation day, the formidable partnership of Carol Simpson and Judy Butler, with guests, stormed to victory with 83 points.
Chris Oldfield, Isabel Rogerson and Fiona Hannah prevailed on Lady Vice Captain’s Day. The Sundella Cup was won on countback by J T Gilmartin and R High. P Hart and J Boyd also scored a nett 63.
M&N members Richard Harsley and Jack Bowers won at the Whickham GC Senior Open Day with 44 points.
