BILLY HAGUE continued his unbeaten run in the Pickering Horseshoe Individual League with a 4-0 victory over bottom-placed Steve Colley in week 10’s set of fixtures.

Hague threw legs of 21, 21 and 22 darts including four 100s and two 140s.

However, the previous week, Hague dropped points in a 2-2 draw with Adie Bumstead. The pair traded the first two legs before Hague hit a 100, a 140, and a great 104 finish for a great 15-dart leg. But he then missed a hatful of darts in leg four to allow Adie to hit double top to level.

This allowed Steve Taylor to hold first place by a point, albeit having played a game more.

He drew 2-2 with John Rule last week - including a 98 finish for legs of 22 and 21 darts, only for Rule to hit back with two 24-darters – but completed 3-1 wins over Sarah Hodgson and Kevin Wilson in a truncated week nine. In his latest outing, against Mark Dalby, Taylor hit two 20-darters in a 3-1 win.

Elsewhere this week, Keith Eddon opened with a 180 and ended with a 70 finish as he whitewashed Dalby and Wilson, while Terry Harper came from behind to beat Al Hodgson.

The previous week, Eddon started with a 23-dart leg against Bumstead, who replied with 134, 125 and a 47 finish for 20 in a 2-2 draw.

Rule held his nerve on the doubles in a tight win over Steve Colley, who himself shot a 96 finish.

Sarah Hodgson beat dad Al 4-0, though Al then played his best darts of the season to defeat Eddon 4-0, including legs of 22 and 21 darts rounded off with a 94 finish.
