ENGLAND Under-19s captain Will Rhodes revelled in a return to his Stamford Bridge stamping ground by smashing a century as Yorkshire seconds beat Worcestershire seconds.

The teenager top-scored with 124 as the Tykes totalled 332-6 before bowling out their Low Catton Road visitors for 289 in a high-scoring 50-over clash.

Rhodes was backed up by York's Jack Leaning, who made 32, Ollie Robinson, who hit 57, and Ryan Gibson, who weighed in with 56, in front of a full house.

Ross Whiteley led the Worcestershire response with 101, but the visitors were curtailed by Sheriff Hutton Bridge bowler Matt Fisher (3-35) and Jack Wainman (3-37).
