ENGLAND Test batsman Jonathan Trott today made his cricketing comeback for Warwickshire Seconds against Yorkshire at Stamford Bridge.
Trott took 3-39 off 14 overs with the ball as the Tykes' second string were bowled out for 301 on day one at Low Catton Road.
Andrew Hodd top-scored for Yorkshire with 58 and Stamford Bridge all-rounder Will Rhodes made 28 on his club ground.
Warwickshire reached 81-1 in reply and Trott, playing for the first time since his early departure from last winter's Ashes tour with England, will resume tomorrow morning on 12 not out. Play starts at 11am.
