The hosts were all out for 62 as James Taylor took 3-15 and loan player Tim Wills, with 3-27, was unable to deny Civil Service.

Copmanthorpe II had a resounding win at home to bottom team Woodhouse Grange IV.

Manas Dixit (3-16) was instrumental in pegging Woodhouse Grange to 68 all out. Despite 3-11 from new man Paul Durkin, the visitors only lost four wickets, with Paul Newton leading the charge on 30 not out.

Hemingbrough chalked up their third win as they took maximum points at home to Cawood.

Cawood were all out for 160 in 43 overs with Stuart Baxter scoring 59 and club chairman Keith Towndrow weighing in with 42.

Hemingbrough lost seven wickets as they passed the target with Paul Van Dijk hitting 46 after taking 4-29. Robert Scarr supported him with 5-16.

Tadcaster Magnet held on for a draw after hosts Pocklington had posted an all-out 177, thanks to Dan Croft’s 89.
