THIRSK & Sowerby Harrier Alan Harman finished 332nd out of 449 runners at the Haweswater Half Marathon in a mere two seconds over the two-hour mark in steady rain.

The Harriers had juts one team in the latest North Yorkshire/South Durham road relays at Croft. Stephan Tomaszewski, Marc Davies, Martyn Coy and Rob Burn combined for 14th place.

In the Norton 9 road race, Ian Codling came 489th in 98 minutes and 04 seconds and Marian Codling 504th in 111.21 out of 508 finishers.

Club-mate Rob Lickley was 32nd out of 219 in 43.01 in the Catterick 10k in support of the charity Help For Heroes.
