JOSH GREENING is unavailable as Pickering Town look to advance in the NCEL League Cup tonight.
The midfielder, who scored in the Pikes’ 6-0 demolition of Glasshoughton Welfare, misses out against first division Dronfield Town at the Recreation Ground tonight.
The third round clash (kick off 7.45pm) was rearranged after the first attempt to stage it fell foul of the weather.
Manager Mitch Cook insisted it is a competition his players are taking very seriously.
“We want to go as far as we can – all the way to the final,” he said.
“It’s a game where we have got everything to lose.
“If we win we were expected to win and that is what we have got to guard against.
“We have done that on various other occasions when we have played other teams at the bottom of our division and have beaten them comfortably.”
On Greening, he added: “It is a blow. He is a good player but, at this level, these things happen and we have got to get on with it.”
