Slingsby, who play in the second division of the Beckett League, were presented with a new strip prior to Saturday’s Ryedale Hospital Cup third round game against Thornton-le-Dale.
The kit has been sponsored by one of their players, local joiner Glyn Brown.
However, it wasn’t a good day all round as Thornton-le-Dale won the tie 3-2 – although Brown himself marked the occasion by putting in a fine performance.
