Roberts faired better on Tuesday, taking the honours in Westland’s AC’s match on the middle lake with a level 19lb.
Drawn at peg 28 and utilising either sweetcorn or pellet on the pole, he captured F1s to the 2lb mark.
John Creaser crossed the line in second with 16lb 4oz from peg 27.
Colin McNeil drew fancied peg 18 on the Acorn at Raker Lakes and made no mistakes, going on to win the York midweek match with 30lb 10oz.
Casting out beyond the aerator with bomb and sweetcorn, he tempted six carp to the net, the best of which tipped the scales at 6lb.
Pete Utley cast out to the island with bomb and corn at peg six and secured runners-up place with 28lb 5oz of carp.
