A HAT-TRICK of end-of-season awards were bagged by captain Adam Fisher and Steve Crowder at Sheriff Hutton Bridge Cricket Club’s presentation evening at Sandburn Hall.

Fisher, elder brother of Yorkshire and England Under-19s player Matthew, picked up the Jim Rhodes Cup as cricketer of the year, as well as the Pickford Trophy and the Jim Rhodes Shield for the best performance of the season.

Steve Crowder collected the Wes Fallowfield Trophy as second team player of the year, plus the Clive Lowery Fielding Award and the Jerry Clough Batting Trophy.

Mark Fisher won the the Tony Hinder first team bowling trophy, while Ben Gill took the Brian Shirley first team fielding award.

Dan Cass won the Barrie Speake second team bowling trophy and Ed Barnes the Chris Renshaw Memorial Trophy for the best junior playing in senior cricket.

Intermediate League trophies were presented to Dan Clipston and Will Quinn.

Shaun Sutcliffe received the Jim Rhodes Cup for club person of the year for his outstanding work during 2013.

A special presentation was made to Colin Mole in recognition of his 30 years as cricket secretary.

Mole has now resigned the position.
