Newlands Park stayed top of Scarborough & District League division one after a 6-3 win at Ayton.
Billy Logan led the way with a hat-trick, with Sean Exley (2) and an own goal also finding the net.
Ayton had led 3-2, with all their goals scored by former Pickering Town favourite Steve Roberts.
Midfielder Mikey Pickering was Ayton’s man of the match, Jamie Gallagher getting Newlands’ award.
Second-placed Eastfield St James beat Whitby Fishermen 3-0 thanks to goals by Kris Tate, Drew McCoubrey and Martyn Ferrey.
Ryedale SC dropped two points when they were held by basement side Westover Wasps 2-2 at home.
Adam Hornby fired Ryedale into a first-half lead, but Curtis Rose and Chris Hannam turned things around for the Wasps after the break. Ryedale needed a late equaliser from Max Kelsey – his first goal for the club – to get their point.
Snainton lost 2-1 at home to Sleights, who now lead division two. Sleights even played 70 minutes with 10 men after Luke Ashbury was sent off. Ben Watson bagged both of their goals.
Newlands Park reserves won 2-1 at FC Rosette thanks to a late goal by substitute Joe Hakings after good work by Franny Lightfoot.
Stuart Bates had earlier seen his opener cancelled out by Rosette’s Jamie Wray.
Whitby RUFC won 3-0 at newcomers Commercial to stay top of division three, Mike Kilpatrick, Paul Jobling and Steve Ross the marksmen.
Bottom two Seamer Sports reserves and Westover Wasps reserves drew 2-2.
Troy Renshaw headed Westover ahead early in the first half and doubled his side’s lead in the second, but Seamer came back well with a brace from Matty Morris in the last 10 minutes.
