Selby Town claim 2-1 home victory over Grimsby Borough

LOUIS BLACKWELL struck two minutes from time to earn Selby Town a 2-1 home victory over Grimsby Borough in Northern Counties East League division one.
Borough took an 11th minute lead at Flaxley Road through Louis Grant, but Ryan O’Reilly levelled for the Robins on 27 minutes.
Then Blackwell fired his winner to make it back-to-back wins for Ian Dring’s men, who moved up to 12th in the table.
Knaresborough Town are eighth following their 4-1 victory at Hemsworth Miners Welfare.
Pickering Town let slip a lead as they lost 2-1 at Retford United in the premier division.
The Pikes forged ahead through Joe Danby’s 49th minute goal, but the hosts equalised on 67 minutes through Reece Thompson and Lee Holmes hit the winner ten minutes later.
Tadcaster Albion played out a goalless draw at Garforth Town.
Harrogate Town hit five unanswered goals against previous Conference North leaders North Ferriby United at Wetherby Road.
The marksmen for unbeaten Town, who are now third in the table, were Leigh Franks and Chris Hall in the first half and Dominic Rowe (2) and Tommy Wright after the break.
Harrogate Railway Athletic were involved in a late flurry of goals as they won 4-2 at Cammell Laird in Evo-Stik League division one north.
Railway led 2-0 at half-time with goals from Nathan Cartman on 18 minutes and Paul Beesley on 39.
Michael Grogan pulled a goal back for the hosts on 70 minutes and although Jesus Martin-Farina made it 3-1 on 85, Daley Woods got one back for Laird within a minute.
Christopher Hunter’s last minute goal ended hopes of a home comeback.
Scarborough Athletic lost 1-0 at home to Gresley in division one south, Robert Spencer scoring the winner on 73 minutes.
