THIRSK & Sowerby Harriers hosted the Harrogate District Summer Race League handicap race and club members Ian Codling and Phillip Craig finished second and third respectively.
Andrea Almack was sixth, Nicola Jenkins 21st, Hilary Coventry 34th. Rebecca Hartley 42nd and Helen Ashworth 46th.
Four members entered the Darlington Pit Stop 10 at Croft and Greg MacDonald, in his first outing for the club, came a superb ninth in 36 minutes 10 seconds.
Steve Middleton was tenth in 36-27. Dan Holdsworth came 16th in 37-19, with Steve Scott 101st in 46-59.
The club are hosting the Sessay Swift six-kilometre race on Thursday, August 22, from 7pm.
The race is held over a flat, fast one-lap course in Sessay.
