DUNCOMBE Park moved back into pole position in division three when they beat Scarborough II by seven wickets.

Tom Precious scored 80 of Scarborough’s 145 as Jack Cranage took 4-24. Park’s Brian Leckenby then took his run tally to 617 when he raced to 93 not out.

Pocklington were six-wicket winners at home to Osbaldwick, who were bowled out for 70. Andy Foreman took 5-29 and Alex Downey 3-18. Neil Jackson’s 35 enabled Pock to win at 74-4.

Sheriff Hutton won by five wickets in their bottom of the table clash with Sessay II. Darren Atkinson hit 53 for Sessay, but his side were all out for 148 as Ben Corner (3-38), Mick Bradley (3-25) and Joel Wilford (3-28) struck.

Wilford then made 43 in Sheriff’s reply, with Tom Harrison making 35.

Scott Nicholls starred for Acomb when they beat Hovingham by nine wickets. He had 3-46 as he and Chris Green (4-18) bowled Hov out for 148. Nicholls then hit an unbeaten 69. Leon Sacks got 57.

Dringhouses relinquished top slot when they were beaten by 50 runs at Driffield.
