Snainton blow

THE Scarborough Beckett League have suffered a second blow after Snainton announced they were withdrawing their first team from the league.

This follows the resignation of Flamborough from the premier division and again illustrates the difficulties some local cricket clubs are facing.

Ironically their scheduled opponents at the weekend were were Brompton, who themselves have withdrawn a team from the Scarborough Evening League – see Page 90.
